The Canadian Centre for Child Protection has issued ‘The Horse’ - a powerful campaign about the dangers the unregulated internet has evolved into for children.

In our mission to end child sexual abuse in all its forms, we work within the Canadian Centre for Child Protection’s Project Arachnid, a global initiative dedicated to detecting and removing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) from every corner of the internet. Since joining the project in 2020, Protect Children has analysed over 3 million individual CSAM images, leading to over 1.95 million takedown requests to electronic service providers. There is a child in every image.

Protect Children, in strong collaboration with ChildFund International and the University of Eastern Finland, is thrilled to announce the launch of Project Lens, which aims to understand and prevent emerging forms of image-based sexual violence against children.   This project is made possible through the generous support of Safe Online, whose commitment to child safety continues to drive essential research and action.
