Let's practice taking screenshots together! With a screenshot, it is significantly easier for a child to tell you about both pleasant and unpleasant situations that they have encountered online. This guide supports you in practicing taking screenshots together and developing children's digital safety skills. Read the guide below.

Guide for parents when a child shows you a screenshot:
Stay calm and listen. Give the child your full attention, show that you understand, and reassure them that they have done the right thing by telling you.
Do not share the screenshot. Do not send or forward it to anyone, as sharing some images may constitute a criminal offense.
If you suspect a crime, contact the police. You do not need to be certain that a crime has occurred - a suspicion is enough. The police will advise you on what to do with the screenshot.
If you do not suspect a crime, delete the screenshot. Remove it from all devices and remember to check your recently deleted photos or files.
