More Than a Device is a pilot project led by Protect Children, which aims to engage parents and caregivers in digital safety education and empower them to pass these skills to their children.

The project will identify the most effective ways to reach parents and caregivers with digital safety skills education and pilot their preferred methods of training in five countries: the UK, France, Spain, Italy, and Finland.  

 

More Than a Device will also enable and empower parents and caregivers to discuss digital safety with their children via an innovative, interactive, and easy to use online training platform that will contain podcasts, short video series, and interactive exercises - parents can choose their preferred training method! 

 

Parents will have opportunities to give feedback on the preferred methods of training, contributing to the development of effective and tailored educational resources.
