Protect Children strengthens it holistic research-based work to end sexual violence against children.
Protect Children’s Board is delighted to announce that Simon Bailey CBE, the Director of Strategic Engagement at Child Rescue Coalition (CRC), the Chair of the Policing Institute for the Eastern Region (PIER) and the former UK National Policing Lead for Child Protection has been appointed as Expert Advisor for Protect Children.
Simon brings with him a wealth of experience as a global leader in tackling online harms, and as a strategic leader who has left a last legacy for UK policing.
“We look forward to having Mr. Bailey as our Expert Advisor as we continue to strengthen our expertise related to the threats posed to children by big tech and how this can be mitigated through our innovative world leading programmes, working with victims and survivors and their families as well as developing our offender based prevention.“ says Ani Ruuskanen, Chairman of the Board, Suojellaan Lapsia, Protect Children ry.
